Payton Feagin helps South Alabama win national cheer championship

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Payton Feagin, a Vicksburg native, helped the University of South Alabama cheerleading team capture a national championship. The team secured the title after strong performances across multiple categories.

Feagin competed in the all-girl group stunt division, where her team finished on top.

The championship marks another milestone for Feagin, who helped lead Northwest Mississippi Community College to two national titles just a year ago.

Feagin is a 2023 graduate of Warren Central High School, where she cheered under her mother, coach Cameron Coon.
