St. Aloysius tennis team wins South State title

Walker Moore won the Boys Singles 1 title, while Louis Amborn captured the Boys Singles 2 championship. In girls doubles, Hendrix Eldridge and Olivia Larsen secured the Girls Doubles 1 title to add to the Flashes’ championship effort.

St. Aloysius also saw strong finishes from its runners-up. Grant Gattle and Michael Moore placed second in Boys Doubles 1, while Andrew Johnston and Carter Smithhart finished as runners-up in Boys Doubles 2. Jane Matthews and Sarah Smith earned second place in Girls Doubles 2.

With the performance, every St. Aloysius competitor qualified for the state tournament, which is scheduled for next Wednesday.
