Billings wins two events to lead Warren Central at Lewisburg Invitational
Addison Billings led Warren Central’s swim team with two victories at the Lewisburg Invitational, winning the 200 and 500 freestyle events. The Lady Vikes finished third overall, while the boys’ team placed fourth in the competition.

Addison Billings led Warren Central High School’s swim team with two individual victories Saturday at the Lewisburg Invitational at the University of Memphis’ Mike Rose Aquatics Center.
Billings won the girls’ 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2 minutes, 10.44 seconds and followed with another first-place finish in the 500 freestyle at 5:52.78. She also helped Warren Central earn second place in the 400 freestyle relay.
The Lady Vikes finished third overall in the team standings with 85 points.
Avery Greer added two top-three individual finishes for Warren Central. She took second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 6:03.28 and finished third in the 200 individual medley.
Sicily Smith also turned in a strong performance, finishing second out of 50 swimmers in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:00.15.
Billings, Smith, Aubrey Rankin and Ella Opperman teamed up in the 400 freestyle relay and finished second with a time of 4:21.05.
On the boys’ side, Warren Central finished fourth in the team standings with 44 points.
Ace Orosco led the Vikings with a fifth-place finish out of 80 swimmers in the 100 freestyle, clocking a time of 54.35 seconds.
Arlo Walshire also earned a top-five finish for Warren Central, placing fifth in the 500 freestyle with a time of 6:30.82.
