Four decades of Rivalry: WC vs. VHS scores since 1981

The rivalry began in 1981 where the Vikings won 17-0. Lum Wright was the Head Coach of WC back then and Rush McKay was in charge of the Vicksburg High program.

Some of the longest tenure coaches in WC and VHS’ history spent years coaching in the rivalry game. Robert Morgan(WC 1985-2003) went 17-2 against the Gators and James Knox(VHS) had a lone victory against WC in 1990 in his 12 years as Head Coach. Alonzo Stevens(VHS) went 6-5 in his 11 years and Josh Morgan(WC) is currently 14-2 against VHS.
