VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 31-year-old Albert Jackson Sr. has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Friday.

On April 22, 2025 Warren County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 2500 block of Culkin Road after receiving a report that a child had disclosed abuse. The child was transported to River Region Emergency Room for further evaluation and treatment.

Investigator Zachery Primeaux led the case, which resulted in the arrest of Jackson at his residence in the 300 block of Pleasant Valley on May 7. Jackson, who is reportedly known to the victim and family, faces two counts of sexual battery and one count of statutory rape.

Albert Jackson Sr. appeared before County Judge Marcie Southerland on May 8 where he was held without bond.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, but no additional arrests are expected at this time.
