Armadillo Classic

WARREN COUNTY, MS. – The Armadillo Classic will be held this afternoon, with a tee off time of 1 p.m. The tournament, in it’s second year, is a two-man scramble with 36 teams.

“The weather is going to be perfect, 92 degrees and Sunny! Clear Creek Golf Course also looks phenomenal thanks to Ronnie Ross and Crew!” said Adam Logue, event coordinator in a Facebook post, “We will be there at 11:00am for anyone who wants to sign in early or hit the range. We are also fortunate to have Russell Standish there, who will have lunch ready before the shotgun start! So come hungry and well rested. Also, we have Miss Morgan Austin from MCB Photography who will be there to take team pictures before and after the tournament, and action pictures during the tournament.”

Armadillo Classic Info:

  • All teams will meet @ 12:45 p.m. to discuss rules.
  • All teams will shotgun start @ 1 p.m. on the dot, so don’t be late!
  • Make sure to bring extra cash for games, 50/50 raffle, and drinks (free water).

G6:2 is a nonprofit organization which allows people with disabilities to enjoy the outdoors and hunt in a Christian environment. G6:2 is short for Galatians chapter 6, verse 2 which reads: ‘Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ’.
