Asian Fusion diner, Sun Izakaya, opens in downtown Vicksburg

VICKSBURG, MS. – A new restaurant, Sun Izakaya, is now open in downtown Vicksburg. The newly opened restaurant will serve Asian Fusion and Sushi with a mixture of specials to suit a customer’s needs.

Asian fusion is a culinary style that blends ingredients, flavors, and techniques from different Asian cuisines, often incorporating elements from Western or other global cuisines. This fusion creates innovative dishes that might combine elements from Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, or Indian cooking, resulting in unique and diverse flavor profiles.

The restaurant will include a variety of food on its menu such as salads, desserts, soups, rice & noodles, salmon, fried chicken, and a list of entrees. They will host a soft opening on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 11 a.m.

The restaurant is located at 1104 Washington Street in Downtown Vicksburg.
