Details of the Jackson Park Robbery

Jackson Police said on Sunday that a three-year-old child and his mother were playing at the park when two people approached the family.

JPD stated that the suspects held the victims at gunpoint and demanded belongings. The suspects then stole their vehicle, hitting the child in the process.

Child Injured in Jackson Park Incident

The child sustained head injuries but was responsive at the scene, according to JPD. They were taken to a local hospital. Deputy Chief of Investigation Sequerna Banks says the 3-year-old is expected to make a full recovery.

The suspects were driving a black four-door vehicle believed to be a Chrysler 200.
