Flashes earned 10 runs in the seventh inning to defeat Prairie View Academy
A 10-run seventh inning led to St. Aloysius earning a 12-7 win over Prairie View Academy on Monday.
The Flashes didn’t get on the board until the sixth inning when Barrett Shows singled to bring in the first run and Clark Hobson was hit by a pitch with the bases full that led to the walk.
By the seventh inning, the Flashes was down 7-2 when the game changed. Carson Smith picked up an RBI whit Pierson Smith hit a double that brought in two runs. Walt Andrews then singled to add another run while Keller Bradley doubled which brought in three runs to put the score at 10-7. Laken Bradley would also earn an RBI from a pop-fly and the final run came from a walk.
Keller Bradley led the game by going 4 for 5 at the plate with three RBIs. Pierson Smith went 3 for 4 with three RBIs while Carson Smith went 2 for 4(1RBI). Shows and Andrews all had one hit in the win.
Hobson finished with six strikeouts and Laken Bradley had four.
The Flashes will travel across town to play Vicksburg High on Tuesday.
