Inmate found deceased at the Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility

YAZOO CITY, Miss. – On Tuesday, August 6th at approximately 11:14 p.m. deputies were dispatched to The Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility in references to a inmate that was housed in a single cell and appeared to be unresponsive. 

Upon arrival, deputies and paramedics entered the cell and found Darryl Brown unresponsive. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigations has been contacted to conduct this death investigation. There are no more details that can be released at this time.
