VICKSBURG, Miss. – The Strand Theatre will show the beloved Christmas classic It’s a Wonderful Life this Saturday, December 21 at 4 p.m., sponsored by Bitsy Sloan.

Directed by Frank Capra, It’s a Wonderful Life stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a kind-hearted banker who, after facing a crisis, is shown by an angel how profoundly he has impacted the lives of those around him. The timeless tale also features Donna Reed, Lionel Barrymore, Henry Travers, and Beulah Bondi.

This event and the popcorn are free and open to the public. The Strand Theatre is located at 717 Clay Street in downtown Vicksburg.
