Jaquez Marshall helps North Team to a win in recent showcase

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg High School boys’ basketball player Jaquez Marshall participated in the fifth annual Talkin’ Hoops in Da Sip Showcase last week, where he helped lead the North Team to a 98-82 victory. Marshall contributed eight points, eight rebounds and two blocks during the game, showcasing his all-around abilities on the court.

The standout forward recently completed his sophomore season at Vicksburg High School, averaging 12 rebounds and eight points per game. His performance has also earned him both All-County and All-District honors.

Jaquez plays under head coach Kelvin Carter and is expected to be a key player next season.
