Jefferson County defeated South Pike on Friday

The Jefferson County High School boys’ basketball team secured a victorious 56-49 win over South Pike on Friday night.

Ke’davian Catchings showed his skills by leading the Tigers with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Stanley Starks contributed with five
assists and Javian Nichols showcased
his defensive prowess with five steals, both adding 10 points each. An impressive performance was also displayed by Royale Shelvy, who contributed nine points and six
rebounds to the team’s triumph.

The Tigers are set to host Franklin County on Friday.
