Porter’s Chapel Academy’s thrilling girls’ basketball season concluded on Tuesday with a heartbreaking 61-59 defeat against Tunica Academy.

Jae’la Smith emerged as the leading scorer for the Lady Eagles, contributing an impressive 23 points. Marley Bufkin also showcased her
skills with 15 points on the scoreboard, Lauren Madison delivered a solid performance with 10 points, while Sophie Masterson and Emily Muirhead each provided valuable contributions
of nine and two points, respectively.

Under the exceptional guidance of Head Coach Casey Fisher, PCA wrapped up the season with an outstanding record of 20 wins and only
2 losses. Their successful journey also
saw them secure a spot in the State Tournament, marking a remarkable achievement for the team.

PCA will graduate Smith and Madison in May.
