Head Coach Jeremy Lawrence expressed his satisfaction, stating,“This feels really good although we didn’t finish a lot of our chances but the girls were focused and they know what’s at stake.”

Allie Mason initiated the scoring by netting the first goal of the night, and Add Mullen quickly followed suit, giving WC a comfortable 2-0 lead
heading into halftime.

Impenetrable defense by the Lady Vikes prevented Grenada from finding the back of the net. With only 13 minutes remaining, Mason secured her second goal of the night, effectively
sealing the win for WC.

“We maintained our strength throughout the game, and the fact that we only had a 2-0 lead motivated me to score the final goal,” said Mason.

Next up, the Lady Vikes (15-5) are set to host Neshoba Central on Saturday, though there is a possibility of a reschedule.
