“Honestly I’m super excited and the girls deserve all the credit because they make my job easy when they work so well together,” WC Head Coach Jeremy Lawrence said. “Everything played out in a good way and they realized were going to win this game so they just quickly put it away.”

The Lady Vikes came out scoring early as Jordan Polk earned the first goal of the night from a penalty kick. Next up would be Melissa Herrle who kicked in the next two that put WC up 3-0 at halftime.
Neshoba and WC both were going back and forth in the second half as Brooke Steed and Mary Clell Allred both controlled the ball well down the field. 20 minutes into the second half, Addi Mullen came out of nowhere and scored a huge goal. Less than two minutes later she kicked in another goal to give her team a 5-0 lead.

“I wanted it bad and just thinking about going to North State helped me put it to where it needed to go,” Mullen said. “I know we’ll have a good fight next game and we’ll leave it all on the field.”
With less than two minutes left to play, Laney Bull kicked in a beauty which marked the final score of the night. Hayleigh Simmons finished the night with three saves.
The Lady Vikes are scheduled to play for the North State Title on Tuesday but due to possible bad weather times and dates could change.
