Warren Central High School softball team improved to 15-4 on the season after defeating Richland 16-6 on Saturday.

The Lady Vikes trailed in the first couple of innings but took control by the third where they drove in seven runs. Jenn Smith had a killer performance at the plate by hitting a double and a triple while going 4 for 4 with four RBIs.

KeKe McKay hit a double as well and finished with two hits and two RBIs. MK Ferguson, Makayla Jackson and Sarah Cameron Fancher(1 RBI) each had a hit. Adalyn Anderson also finished with an RBI.

Maddy Pant struck out nine batters and only allowed one hit.

WC will travel to face Wesson on Tuesday.
