Missy Gators’ season ends after a close loss to Olive Branch

Vicksburg High School’s girls’ basketball team concluded their season on Friday with a gut-wrenching 59-54 defeat against Olive Branch.

In her last game, Terri Boyd showcased her skills by contributing 22 points. Kierra James wrapped up her high school basketball journey
with an impressive double-double,
tallying 11 points and securing 12 rebounds. Cynia Johnson displayed her determination with eight points and six rebounds, while Rodrianna Hall added six points to the team’s efforts.

Despite the loss, the Missy Gators showed resilience throughout the season and finished with a 10-20 record under the guidance of Head Coach Troy Stewart, who successfully
guided the team to the 6A State Tournament.
