Munchies: Riverwalk Casino’s new quick-serve food and drink outlet

VICKSBURG, MS. – Riverwalk Casino held a grand opening today for a new quick-serve beverage and food outlet in the lobby of the casino and hotel: Munchies. The outlet will offer several quick snack options as well as their pride and joy for the new eatery: frozen daiquiris, with the current favorite being dreamcicle.

Brock VanWye, Riverwalk’s Senior Director of Marketing and Hotel said outside of the four main stay flavors, including dreamcicle, they plan to feature seasonal variations of the frozen drink. The current featured flavors are white russian and piña colada

“We’re always looking for fresh ways to make Riverwalk Casino Hotel even more enjoyable for our guests,” said VanWye. “With Munchies, it will be easier than ever for guests to make time for whatever they’re craving, from their favorite savory snacks and indulgent beverages to plenty of other mouthwatering munchies.”

The outlet will also offer three tabletop gaming systems, with a live roulette feed for the casino’s electric roulette table. VanWye mentioned this would allow guests to be able to play along even if the actual table on the floor was full. VanWye said the project has been in the works since last year.

“We’ve been working on this project since mid-year of last year, and it all came to fruition this year. We worked with the team on dialing in the concept: the look, the feel, the menu, and what we would highlight,” said VanWye.

Munchies, located inside Riverwalk Casino Hotel across from the hotel front desk, will be open Sunday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 a.m. To view a complete menu, click here.
