On Thursday night, Porter’s Chapel Academy baseball team dominated Port Gibson with a resounding 12-0 victory.

The Eagles started strong, scoring seven runs in the first inning. John Wyatt Massey’s double and singles from Chase Hearn, Gavin White, and Brayden King contributed to this early
lead. In the second inning, two walks extended PA’s advantage to 9-0.

The game lasted only four innings, quickly concluding after Gavin Pugh hit a triple and Massey drove in a run with an RBI.

Both King and Massey had an impressive performance with one hit and three RBls each. Gavin Pugh contributed with one hit and two RBls, while Hearn and Conley Johnston had
a hit each.

Pugh showcased excellent pitching, striking out 10 batters and only allowing two hits during the game.

With a record of 2-2, the Eagles are looking forward to hosting Tensas Academy next Thursday.
