PCA took a 13-12 loss to River Oaks; Cantin and Masterson both hit home runs

Porter’s Chapel Academy took a 13-12 slugfest loss to River Oaks Academy on Monday. The Lady Eagles finished the game with hits while Natalie Cantin and Sophie Masterson both hit home runs over the fence.

Both PCA and RO went back and forth throughout the night taking the lead. Lauren Rae Davis hit a double and finished with two hits and three RBIs. Audrey Carraway also hit a double along with an RBI as she went 2 for 4. Sophie Masterson hit her first varsity home run and ended the night with two hits while Mia Abdo also had two hits. Kinsley Luke(1 RBI), Brooklynn Nicholson, and Marley Bufkin all had one hit. Cantin also hit a two-run home run as well.

Masterson struck out seven batters and Luke struck out three.

PCA will host Prairie View Academy on Tuesday.
