Port Gibson baseball team picked up two wins over Provine

Port Gibson High School baseball team took down Provine in a doubleheader on Wednesday.

Game one:

The Blue Waves went up 3-1 in the first inning after a triple by Michael Evans and singles from Raphael Neal and Danuell  Lucas. PG picked up runs  after a double from Jaylen Hill and singles by Akeem Wells and Neal. Wells also hit a double late in the game as the Blue Waves won 13-3.

Neal(3 RBIs)and Wells(1 RBI)both went 3 for 3 at the plate. Hill went 2 for 3 while Kendarion Owens, Centrell Hedrick and Evans all had a hit.

Game two:

The Blue Waves won 17-1 in game two as Neal went 3 for 3 with two RBIs and a triple. Hedrick had two RBIs and a double while Lucas went 1 for 1. Wells, Owens and Kimontae Crutison all had an RBIs.
