Port Gibson man charged with murder

Port Gibson, Miss.-On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, Lakendrick Claiborne was arraigned in the Port Gibson Municipal Court for the shooting death of Trevionne Claiborne. Honorable Judge Odom set Lakendrick’s bond at $50,000.

The incident took place Sunday, the 26th day of January 2025 at 1201 Vine Street.
This incident is still under investigation.

The Port Gibson Police Department would also like to thank Sheriff Edward Goods, and the Claiborne County Sheriff Department for their assistance.
