Shorter named Reinhardt’s Defensive Player of the Week

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

Vicksburg native Vertez Shorter has been selected as Reinhardt’s Defensive Player of the Week.

In a 56-0 win over Kentucky Christian, Shorter had a total of 10 tackles (6 solos), including one tackle for loss.

The Eagles are now 7-2 on the year and they will host Bluefield on Saturday.
