WC ninth grade basketball team picked up two wins this week

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — 

Warren Central High School ninth grade boys’ basketball team picked up two wins this week.

On Tuesday, the Vikings defeated Ridgeland 68-41. Deric Gibbs led the team with 26 points and Ke’Anthony Wynn put up 16.

WC won in the final seconds against Madison Central on Thursday in a 49-47 victory. Wynn put up 20 points while Gibbs added 17 and Micah Moore grabbed 12 rebounds.
