Tallulah Shooting leaves one dead

TALLULAH, LA – A shooting in Tallulah last evening in the 200 block of Thomas Street has left one dead, according to the Louisiana State Police.

According to information in a press release made by the Louisiana State Police: On Thursday, October 24, 2024, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Louisiana State Police/CID/Detectives-Monroe Field Office (LSP MFO) were requested by the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office (MPSO) to investigate a homicide that occurred inside the city limits of Tallulah as a result of a shooting incident.

The Louisiana State Police Monroe Field Office will serve as the lead investigating agency, with Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office assisting.

Anyone with information and/or pictures and video is urged to share that information with Louisiana State Police Detectives. The Louisiana State Police online reporting system is available to the public through a convenient, anonymous, and secure reporting form that is submitted to the appropriate investigators.
