Utica man arrested after attempting to flee from police
According to Chief Mike Bryant with the Vicksburg Police Department, a Utica man was arrested for felony eluding.
32-year-old Corey Hicks, of Utica, was taken into custody on Monday, December 25, after an officer he fled from days before recognized him.
Hicks was charged with Felony Eluding, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and Possession of Cocaine. He appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, where his bond was set at $115,000. He was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
