Vicksburg’s Nick Anderson signs with a CFL team

Vicksburg native Nick Anderson has now signed a contract with the Canadian Football League.

The Edmonton Elks announced on Monday that the outstanding linebacker has joined their squad. Anderson went undrafted in 2023 and was signed by the New Orleans Saints but was eventually cut.

At Tulane, Anderson had 283 career tackles, 29 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks. Before Tulane, Anderson was a star linebacker at Jones College. He is a graduate of Vicksburg High School.
