VJHS girls’ basketball team finished with a 18-15 win over Clinton

Vicksburg Junior High School girls’ basketball team finished Thursday night with a 18-15 win over Clinton.

Zion Knox led the Missy Gators with eight points and Zaria Jones came away with four points on the night. VJHS was up 8-7 at halftime.

Jariyah Williams and Layla Johnson both had two points each while Madisyn Kimble and Aaliyah Mims both hit free throws.

The Missy Gators will travel to Madison Middle School on Monday.
