Volunteers Needed for Flag Placement at Vicksburg National Cemetery on May 24

In a special annual tradition, volunteers and National Park Service staff will honor the sacrifice of fallen service members by placing United States flags at each gravesite within the National Cemetery on the Friday before Memorial Day.

This year, the event will take place on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Volunteers of all ages are invited to participate.
