WCJHS pulled off an overtime win against Germantown on Tuesday

Warren Central Junior High School football team pulled off a thrilling 20-14 overtime win against Germantown on Tuesday.

The Mavericks got on the board first but the Vikings responded with a 15-yard touchdown run from Braylen Selvy. In the second half, Zellous picked up a rushing touchdown while Jordan Younger scored the 2-point conversion. 

With a score of 14-14 at the end of the fourth quarter, the game went into overtime. The Viking defense stepped up and made the first stop before getting on offense when Zellous hit Taylor for a 14-yard touchdown to win the game. 

The Vikings are 3-0 on the year and they will face Terry next Tuesday.
