WC’s Big Blue marches away with overall 1st Place this weekend

VICKSBURG, MS – The Warren Central High (WC) School’s Big Blue Band: The Pride of the Delta Land marched away as the Overall 1st Place Grand Champions at the 1st Annual Southeast Regional Marching Competition held at East MS Community College.

  • Large Division Best Visuals
  • Large Division Best General Effect
  • Large Division Best Percussion
  • Large Division Best Color Guard
  • Large Division 1st Place
  • 1st Annual Southeast Regional Marching Championship Overall 1st Place Grand Champions

The Big Blue also recently took home three best in class and 1st overall in their division at the Titan Marching Band Invitational at Ridgeland High School.

WC’s Big Blue will travel to Pearls HS this upcoming weekend where they will perform for the state evaluation and competition.

The Big Blue Band is under the direction of Dr. Jace McMullin, WC Head Band Instructor. This year’s award winning show is titled: Paint it Black.
