WC’s Gloria Hall signs to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College

A road paved with wins, tough loses, hard training and concentration has led a soccer player to earning a scholarship and making her next move official.
Warren Central High School’s Gloria Hall has officially signed to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
Hall was introduced to soccer at the age of five when she played for the Cannon Crushers. She went on to continue to play throughout high school at WC where she was named VDN’s first official Soccer Player of the Year in 2022.
Throughout the years, Hall made many memories on and off the soccer field that she will always cherish.
“Beating Vicksburg every year has to be one of my few favorite memories but I’ll always love those bus rides back home because it was just a sisterhood bond,” Hall said.
Hall has been playing under Head Coach Jeremy Lawrence since the tenth grade. She mentioned that playing under him has been a special experience.
“He’s a great coach and an amazing role model for us but he not only cares about the game but he also cares about the relationship between his players and you don’t always get a coach like that,” Hall added.
Hall chose MGCCC over Hinds CC and East Central CC.
“They really stood out to me because their program is great, their program is great and the team is great,” Hall said.
Hall quickly thanked her supporters for sticking with her throughout her soccer career as they got to witness her special day.
“I want to thank my mom and my family, all my coaches over the years and my teammates for everything they’ve done for me.”
Gloria is the daughter of Andy and Kristi Hall and she will be majoring in business.
Gloria Hall’s Accomplishment:
- VDN Soccer Player of the Year
- 2x Offensive Player of the Year
- All-County Soccer Player
- Selected to play in the MHSAA All-Star Game
