WC’s Henderson came in first place at the Last Chance Invitational

Jonathan Henderson, a standout track
and field athlete from Warren Central
High School, showcased his skills at the Last Chance Invitational held in Birmingham,
Alabama.

Competing in the high jump event, Henderson secured first place with an impressive jump of six feet and six inches on Saturday.

Henderson is coached by Corey Wilson Sr.,
who has been instrumental in honing his athletic abilities. Notably, Henderson’s remarkable performance at the Last Chance Invitational adds to his already impressive track record, as he proudly holds the title of the 2023 6A State Champion in the high jump
event.
