Vicksburg’s Levi Wyatt declares for the 2026 NFL Draft
VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — Vicksburg native Levi Wyatt has declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, making the announcement Monday in a post shared on social media.
Wyatt expressed gratitude to God, his family, coaches and teammates, reflecting on a collegiate journey that included multiple stops and challenges along the way. He began his college career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College before transferring to McNeese State University, where he earned 2024 All-Southland Conference Second Team honors and was also named to the 2024 Phil Steele All-Southland Conference team.
Wyatt later finished his collegiate career at Jackson State University, returning closer to home to compete for the Tigers. Jackson State posted a 9-3 record with Wyatt playing in the secondary.
In his announcement, Wyatt thanked both McNeese State and Jackson State for their roles in his development on and off the field, along with his family for their continued support. He also expressed appreciation to his coaches, including Jackson State head coach T.C. Taylor, for the opportunity to compete and be part of a winning culture.
Wyatt said he is declaring not only for the NFL Draft, but also the UFL and CFL drafts, stating he is motivated and prepared for the next chapter of his football career.
A Vicksburg native, Wyatt played high school football at Vicksburg High School, Hillcrest Christian School and Holmes County Central High School.
