Family in need following house fire

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Earlier today, Monday, June 1, there was a fire leaving a family of five in need of donations.
The structure fire occurred around 11 a.m. on Wright Road. The home was a complete loss.
In a social media post a family member said it was a heartbreaking situation for a family who had already been through so much. The post stated all donations would be appreciated.
Donations of all kinds can be dropped at the Klondyke located at 100 N. Washington Street in Vicksburg.
Sizes needed are mens XXL shirts, 38-40 pants and men’s size 12 shoes. Also needed are women’s size XL shirts, size 14 or XL women’s pants, and ladies size 10 shoes.
Fore the children affected girl’s size 12/14 clothes and girl’s size 2-2.5 shoes are needed. Boy’s size 6/7 clothing and boy size 4t are also wanted.
“Thanks to everyone for all the love and prayers,” said the family on social media.
