Earline Bunch 1947-2023
A Memorial Service will be held for Earline Bunch will be held on January 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Greater Grove Street M. B. Church, 2715 Alcorn Dr., Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Earline transitioned on December 10, 2023, at the age of 76.
Earline Bunch was born on February 6, 1947, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to the late Oscar and Mary Bunch. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pleasant Valley M. B. Church under the hands of Pastor E. D. Straughter.
She attended Kings School Elementary in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where she loved to sing and was a dedicated member of a group called The Bunch Sisters. She was the sweetest, kindest, compassionate, loving, and most giving person you could ever meet.
Her loving family
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mary Bunch; maternal and paternal grandparents; fun-loving sister, Jerlean McFarland; beloved great-granddaughter, Dalonni Marie Anette Bunch; hilarious nephew, Sgt. Clifton Cal Lumpkin, Jr.; devoted son-in[1]law, Charles James Scott; loving sister-in-law, Senobia Faye Bunch; and dear cousin, Minister Robert Earl Bunch.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: her seven daughters, Annette B. Scott of Grand Prairie, Texas, Rachel (Melvin) Clark, Hope Bunch, Faith Bunch, Charity Bunch, Elaine Bunch, all of Vicksburg, and Arlene Bunch Boyd of Denver, Colorado; four sons, Ronny (Catinna) Bunch, Gregory Bunch, both of Vicksburg, Jonathan (Ruth) Bunch of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Michael (Kimberly) Bunch of Houston, Texas; two bonus daughters, Mattie “Thai” Reynolds and Shellon Y. Wilson, both of Vicksburg; three sisters, Mary Joan (W. L.) Burks, Loretta (James) Bunch, Hattie (J. D.) Hill, all of Vicksburg; and three brothers, William (Marie) Bunch of Detroit, Michigan, Arvell (Janice) Bunch, and Robert Bunch, both of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
She also leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: 29 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, including the Burks, Valentine, Sims, Williams, Grayer, and Barber families; and very special friend, Cora (Yummy) Kemp.
