Flashes’ season ends after a loss to Bowling Green
The St. Aloysius High School football season came to an end on Friday night after a 34-6 loss to Bowling Green Academy in the second round of the MAIS playoffs.
The Flashes’ lone touchdown came in the third quarter when Robert Lee ran for the 2-yard score.
St. Al finished the 2024 season with a 3-9 record under first-year Head Coach Walker Mosby. During the regular season, they secured wins over Clinton Christian Academy and Manchester Academy. In the first round of the playoffs, the Flashes shocked Winston Academy 33-27 in five overtimes.
The Flashes will now go into offseason training and prepare for the 2025 season.
