Mosby named St. Aloysius new Head Football Coach

Vicksburg Catholic School is thrilled to announce the hiring of Walker Mosby as the new head football coach. With a wealth of experience coaching all positions, Coach Mosby brings a dynamic and versatile approach to the Flashes football program.
Coach Mosby comes highly recommended, boasting an impressive background in leadership within the realm of sports and academics. Having graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in History, Mosby also holds a Master’s degree in Sports Administration, showcasing a commitment to both academic and athletic
excellence.

Mosby expressed excitement about joining the Flashes Family, “I am honored and eager to contribute to the success of this esteemed
organization. Together, with the players, faculty, staff, alumni, and fans, I look forward to achieving great things at Vicksburg Catholic School.”
Coach Mosby comes to us from Pearl River Community College where he served as Wide Receivers Coach, Running Backs Coach, and an
Academic Advisor. Prior to Pearl River, he was a Defensive Backs Coach, Special Teams Coach, and Head of Fundraising and football operations at Louisburg College in Louisburg, North Carolina. Mosby has also spent time coaching at both Mississippi Gulf Coast
Community College and Mississippi State University. Along with joining the coaching staff of St Aloysius, he will be a member of the
esteemed academic faculty, where he will teach Biology and History.
St. Aloysius looks forward to introducing Coach Walker Mosby to the Flashes Family and the Vicksburg community.
