Natchez woman arrested after allegedly running over her boyfriend

A Natchez woman was arrested on Monday after allegedly running over her boyfriend. 35-year-old Mary Caroline Bequette was taking into custody by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office later that day.

The incident happened on Carthage Point Road where the victim was transported to the hospital and placed in ICU. Bequette refused to take a breathalyzer test and was charged with DUI Refusal and Aggravated Assault.

Bequette appeared in Justice Court where her bond was set at $501,000 by Judge Danny Barber.
