VICKSBURG, MS. – Just before 1:30 p.m. a single vehicle left the interstate near 2400 south Frontage road. The vehicle ended up off the roadway with at least one person reported to be entrapped in the vehicle and seriously injured. AirCare has been called in.

AirCare is called in whenever a victim has received trauma to the extremities such as legs, arms, and head. There is no area hospital set up to treat those traumas. While some injuries to the extremities can be treated locally, some are required to be a treated at a Jackson area hospital, this is typical in reported entrapment.
