Port Gibson basketball teams are heading to the Big House

Port Gibson High School boys and girls’ basketball teams clinched victories on Friday night, earning their tickets to the Big House.

In a thrilling match, the boys triumphed over Tylertown with a score of 58-54. Meanwhile, the girls dominated St. Patrick with a commanding 56-39 win, solidifying their spots in the final four.

With an 18-12 record, the boys are set to take on Booneville (26-2) at the Mississippi Coliseum on Monday at 7 p.m. On the other hand, the Lady Waves (18-7) will also go head-to-head with Booneville (24-1) at 4 p.m. earlier on the same day.
