Shooting and Embezzlement suspects arrested

On Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 5:09pm officers responded to the Elizabeth Circle area for a report of shots being fired. According to witnesses, three black males shot at another black male in the open area behind the houses.

Jaylen Demarcus Moore

On Thursday, April 11, 2024, Vicksburg Police investigators arrested Jaylen Demarcus Moore, 17, of Vicksburg on charges of Aggravated Assault and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime. Moore appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, April 12, 2024, where his bond was set at $150,000 and he was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury. More arrests in this case are anticipated.

Tyrell Galloway, 23, of Vicksburg appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, April 12, 2024. Charged with one count of Embezzlement from Wal-Mart, Judge Angela Carpenter set his bond at $7,500 and bound him over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
