SILVER ALERT: Mary Elizabeth Helms

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a SILVER ALERT for Mary Elizabeth Helms of Monroe County, Mississippi.

Mary Elizabeth Helms of Nettleton, Mississippi, was last seen on Thursday, March 21, at about 9:25 a.m. in the 700 block of North Meridian Street in Monroe County, walking south. She was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and carrying a large black garbage bag. She has a scar on her abdomen due to a previous surgery.

Family members say Mary Elizabeth Helms suffers from a medical condition that may impair her judgment.
