Vicksburg High School baseball team made a crucial comeback to knock off Terry 11-6 on Friday night.

The Bulldogs took a 3-0 first inning lead over the Gators who had a hard time hitting the ball at the start of the game. Things would change in the third inning for VHS as they picked nine runs after a triple by Braylon Green and a nice single from Tyler Carter as they went up 9-4.

Terry scored two more runs in the fourth inning but VHS responded with two runs of their own when Kealon Bass hit a two-run single to help the Gators clinch the win. Seven West and Nick Carson both picked up hits in the fourth and Green hit a double later on in the win.

Bass ended the night with one hit and three RBIs while Carter had one hit and two RBIs. Chris Green, West and Carson all had one hit and one RBI. Braylon Green led with two hits and one RBI while Mickell Jones and Patrick Gray Jr. both had an RBI.

Chris Green struck out 11 batters in the win and VHS will travel to play Florence on Saturday.
