WC track team placed in the Brookhaven Invitational; Dwight Palmer named Team MVP

Warren Central High School track team participated in the Brookhaven Invitational on Friday. The boys finished in third place and the Lady Vikings finished in fourth place.

Dwight Palmer was named Team MVP after coming in first place in the 200m(22.89) and second in the 100m(11.22). Jonathan Henderson earned first place in the High Jump(6’6) while Teryn Green and D’Kasei Crump both finished in fourth place in their events.

The Vikings also came in fourth place in both the 4X100 meter relay and the 4X200 meter relay.

Lady Vikes:

Mere Smith claimed first place in the 300mh(51.11) while Adria Burrell came in third place in both the 100m(12.60) and the 200m(26.79).

Kylie Hearn finished in third place in the 4X800(12:04.50). T. Truly competed in the triple jump(3rd place, 8.89) and the long jump(4th place, 14’6).
