White charged in July 30 Washington Street shooting, where man ran to Speed Mart

VICKSBURG, MS – Anthony White, 42, of Vicksburg, appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Thursday, October 17, 2024, on a charge of Aggravated Assault. His arrest stems from an incident that was reported on Washington Street on July 30, 2024, where he allegedly shot another male in his arm.

Judge Angela Carpenter set White’s bond at $60,000 and bound him over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

At around 1:30 p.m. on July 30, 2024, a person was shot on National, near Washington Street, and ran to the Speed Mart for assistance. The victim stated there was a confrontation with a person in a white vehicle, who would later be identified as Anthony White who was charged with Aggravated Assault.
