Cass’s Birthday parade to be held tomorrow at Vicksburg Mall

VICKSBURG, MS. – A birthday parade is scheduled for the youngest of the Burnside family, Cass Burnside, tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. He turns 6 this year. The parade will be held at the Vicksburg Mall on the western side near the Mutual A.T.M. A similar parade was held earlier this year for his brother.

Below is a post made by Cass’s father Jason Burnside:

We are inviting everyone to our youngest son Cass’s birthday parade. This Saturday at the mall at 3 p.m. We will be on the side by the A.T.M.. We aren’t asking that anyone bring anything (you are welcome to it you would like but not required in any way). All we ask is that you ride by and honk your horn for him. His mother has stage 4 cancer and is actively taking chemo. So we are not able to have a birthday party for him. This is the best I can come up with. He turned 6 years old today. He is severely epileptic and has been battling that since he was about 5 months old. So, if you are out and about and would like to help make a little boys birthday special. Simply ride through and blow your horn for him. Thank you all in advance!

Love,

The Burnside Family
