Port Gibson Titans youth football team won their fifth straight Jackson Bowl Championship


The Port Gibson Titans Youth football team won their fifth straight Freedom Bowl Championship over the weekend.
The Titans defeated the Jackson Eagles on Saturday to claim victory in all three age groups.
The A-team(11-12 year-olds) secured a 24-0 win over the Eagles. Ocie Brown III was named MVP of the game. They ended the season with a 4-3 record.
Jeremiah Jones earned the MVP title for the B-team in their 28-0 win. They finished 6-1 on the year.
The C-Team won 28-7 where James Bell and Carson Walker were the Co-MVPs in that victory. They went 7-0 in 2023.
The Titans are led by Head Coach David Jones Sr. along with assistant coaches Wendell Barnes, Coach Reed and Coach Parker.
