Cross Keys pulled off big wins over teams like Tapestry Charter, Cottage, Fulton Science Academy, and Howard High School. The team was led by KeAndre Tucker who averaged 21.3 points per game and Christian Holmes who 14 points per game. Coach Terry mentioned that both players have received multiple offers.

Terry played basketball at Port Gibson High under Head Coach Kim Windom. He then graduated from Vicksburg High School  in 2014 before receiving higher education at Alcorn State University. Terry graduated from Alcorn in 2018 and 2021.

In 2020, he started his coaching career at Carver Middle School in Raymond, Mississippi. He coached there for four years and led the team to four winning seasons before accepting the Head Coaching job at Cross Keys.
